An advanced stand-alone Smart Repeater designed to expand the radio coverage of Central Monitoring Stations (CMS).

The Repeater is capable of simultaneously relaying radio transmissions from thousands of intruder alarm systems to PIMA’s Sentry decoder.

Mounted inside a robust waterproof metal case for easy, quick and secure installation, the Repeater can hold an optional cellular modem and/or radio transceiver.

The SAR-100 is controlled and monitored by the PIMAGuard application.

Smart Repeater
The Smart Repeater utilizes bi-directional communication with the Central Monitoring Station for sending events efficiently. It operates in dual-mode as a multi-channel repeater so that it can receive/transmit an event in one channel (e.g. Radio) and transmit/receive it via another (e.g. telephone). The most common application is Radio-to-Radio repeater with a telephone or the network as a backup.

Υπάρχουν κυρίως δυο τεχνολογίες που μπορεί να επιλέξει κανείς σήμερα στο κλειστό κύκλωμε τηλεόρασης, την αναλογική ή την δικτυακή (ΙΡ).

Στην αναλογική τεχνολογία  η συνήθης τεχνολογία που χρησιμοποιείται είναι σε High Definition (1080p) ενώ στην τεχνολογία ΙΡ οι κάμερες έχουν ανάλυση που ορίζεται σε Mega Pixel.

 

Στις αναλογικές κάμερες γίνεται χρήση κυρίως ομοαξονικού καλωδίου για τη μεταφορά εικόνας ενώ στις ΙΡ γίνεται χρήση κυρίως καλωδίων δικτύου.

Φυσικά υπάρχουν και άλλες μέθοδοι μεταφοράς εικόνας όπως για παράδειγμα ασύρματη ή μέσω οπτικής ίνας,

 

Η εικόνα από τις κάμερες (Ελληνικά ονομάζονται εικονολήπτες) μεταφέρεται σε μια μονάδα γνωστή ως καταγραφικό DVR (digital video recorder) / NVR (network video recorder).

Σε αυτές τις μονάδες γίνεται καταγραφή με βάση τις ρυθμίσεις που έχουν επιλεγεί (π.χ. συνεχώς σε υψηλή ανάλυση με 10 frame ανά δευτερόλεπτο).

 

Σε κάθε περίπτωση πρέπει να γίνει αντιληπτό ότι η τεχνολογίες κλειστού κυκλώματος δεν έχουν καμία απολύτως σχέση σε ότι αφορά την ποιότητα σήματος σε σχέση με τις τεχνολογίες τηλεοπτικής εκπομπής.

Σε όλες τις περιπτώσεις σημαντική υπόθεση είναι η επιλογή κάμερας με βάση το φωτισμό, το κάδρο που πρέπει να δίνει (άρα και επιλογή φακού),  νυχτερινή λειτουργία, και πολλά άλλα.

Επίσης μια κάμερα μπορεί να πρέπει να τοποθετηθεί εσωτερικά αλλά οι συνθήκες που επικρατούν θα πρέπει να μας κάνουν να πάμε για επιλογή κάμερας εξωτερικού χώρου (π.χ. χώρος κουζίνας).

 

Στην συνέχεια του άρθρου θα γράψουμε για την τεχνολογία ΙΡ που είναι και η λιγότερο γνωστή στο ευρύ κοινό.

 

Η χρήση τεχνολογίας ΙΡ για τις κάμερες καθώς και τη διασύνδεσή τους με ένα δικτυακό καταγραφικό (NVR) επιτρέπει μια σειρά από πλεονεκτήματα σε σχέση με την κλασική τεχνολογία όπως δυνατότητα καλύτερης ανάλυσης.

 

Αυτό που πρέπει να είναι γνωστό είναι ότι πρέπει να αποφεύγεται η χρήση αυτής της τεχνολογίας πάνω από υπάρχοντα δίκτυα πληροφοριών (data) που υπάρχουν εγκατεστημένα σε πολλά κτήρια. Ο λόγος είναι απλός και έχει να κάνει με το γεγονός ότι θα κάνουν χρήση μεγάλου μέρους της χωρητικότητας του υπάρχοντος δικτύου καθιστώντας το πολύ αργό για άλλες χρήσεις.

 

Για τα καταγραφικά σημαντικό είναι να επιλέξουμε σκληρό δίσκο ειδικά κατασκευασμένο για αυτά και όχι για υπολογιστές.. Πολλοί ρωτούν γιατί. Η απάντηση είναι ότι οι σκληροί δίσκοι των καταγραφικών έχουν πολλαπλασίως σκληρότερη χρήση αφού αυτή γίνεται συνέχεια, κάτι που δεν γίνεται σε ένα υπολογιστή.

 

Η εικόνα καταγράφεται στα καταγραφικά συμπιεσμένη συνήθως σε H264 ή πλέον στο πιο σύγχρονο H265 (HEVC) που έχει την διπλάσια συμπίεση σε σχέση με το Η.264 για την ίδια ποιότητα εικόνας..

 

Σε όλες τις περιπτώσεις πρέπει να υπάρχει απόλυτη συμφωνία με την σχετική νομοθεσία καθώς και τις οδηγίες της Αρχής Προστασίας Προσωπικών Δεδομένων.
